Wold Top was founded in 2003 by farmers Tom and Gill, who were looking at different ways to sustain the family farm with diversification and hit on brewing as their solution!

Tom is now semi retired and Gill passed away in 2020.

In 2010 they were joined by eldest daughter Kate and her partner (now husband) Alex and over the last few years they have taken over the day to day running and business development of the Brewery.

The Brewery has gone from strength to strength and we couldn’t have done this without our team of talented Brewers, quality focused Bottlers and passionate Sales and Delivery folk. Brewers Andrew, Tony and Henry make sure our beers are brewed to perfection, while also ensuring that the casks that go out to pubs and bars are in top condition.
